A gardening pot
...can be painted, distressed and used as a bowl for fruit (looks nicer if it has sort of a leg).

Vintage birthday decorations

I absolutely love this. So elegant, cute and girly. I definitely want to try the bunting. Looks so easy and cheap. And I love the idea of the shade with butterflies, I think it would also be cute with little flowers glued to it. I think I've just found the inspiration for Darling Daughter's first birthday.

Party games
I came across this on alphamom.com. I think it would make a great party game or an ice breaker game for sunday school.
It could easily be adapted to fit the theme of a party.
